I find LH a bit creepy...... to use the favourite "in" word in this year's BB.

It is sad when people use surgery to try and resolve mental health issues. Genetically speaking, i.e. in terms of chromosomes, LH will always be a man and will sound like one. A piece of legal fiction requires us to refer to LH as female but legislation cannot override genetics.

I've read a bit about the 'trapped in the wrong body' syndrome. Don't completely buy it I'm afraid. I think it is, in many if not all cases, failure to come to terms with sexual orientation.
