Wins ton went because he was getting so full of himself and thought he had it in the bag. He thought he had the looks to get him the female vote...the screams when his name was called made his head grow bigger and bigger. He wasn't humbled by it and never showed much gratitude which made him cocky...I don't think it was down to his association with Helen.
