Big Brother 16: Day 20
9: 10 AM: Luna, Bronte, Doug and Will have showered and woken up early. Chloe, Maxine, AJ and Hattie are chatting in the kitchen and Rick, Niamh and Martyn are chatting in a tent. “I don’t know why anyone would want to camp, I feel like a gypsy” Martyn smirks. “Bit harsh, it’s nice to appreciate nature” Niamh says. “You sound like Bronte, I think that lot are enjoying it” Martyn smirks. “Well it is peaceful and calm” Niamh says. “You’re such a hippie” Martyn smirks.
9: 55 AM: Maxine is chatting with AJ.”Chloe went to bed rather quickly, she was chatting to you, did anything happen, like an argument?” Maxine asks. “She was drunk and she kissed me” AJ admits. “God, are you alright? What did you do? Maxine asks. “I’m fine and I just backed off, Chloe was in a state” AJ says. “Please AJ, don’t mention it, I’m sorry” Chloe sighs as she sits down. “It’s alright” AJ smiles. “Seriously, is your actual name AJ?” Maxine asks. “No” AJ says. “What is it?” Chloe asks. “Doesn’t matter” AJ says and quickly walks off.
10: 30 AM: Luna is reading out the next task to the campmates. “Campmates, there are eight of you remaining, for the night you will lose your tents, you must build a shelter out of the materials provided by Big Brother which have been placed in the garden overnight. You have four hours to build a shelter, the shelter must be waterproof, to test this campmates will sit in their shelter whilst the other team will pour a bucket of ice-cold water over the shelter. If one shelter breaks down and soaks the other team the winning team will move into the house, if both teams win then the decision of the best shelter will be down to Chloe and Maxine” Luna reads. “Right, so teams?” Bronte asks. “Might as well do, Luna, Bronte, Will and me” Doug says. “Alright, best of luck” Niamh smirks.
11: 21 AM: Chloe and Maxine are chatting in the laundry room. “Apparently the next task is shelter building, we might have to judge the shelters” Chloe says. “Right, why did you kiss AJ?” Maxine asks. “I was very drunk, just let it go” Chloe says.”Alright, I think that we might not have to see Judith until Friday” Maxine smirks. “What if she’s evicted?” Chloe asks. “Then we might not have to see her ever again” Maxine grins.
12: 17 PM: Luna and Bronte are preparing the interior of the shelter. “Guys, help us cover the damn thing before making a welcome mat and some chairs” Doug sighs. “But it needs to be homely” Luna says. “Seriously, I don’t wanna get soaked so help Will tie the knots of the fabric round the logs” Doug says. “Will can do it all himself, he’s great at this stuff” Luna smirks. “Judith has apparently broken the other team’s roof” Doug smirks. “Was she inside when is happened?” Bronte smirks. “No, I saw it, she was tying rope and it tugged on the wall, and the roof fell down, Niamh just managed to escape” Doug says. “I’ve barely seen there’s, is it any good?” Bronte asks. “They’ve jammed four logs into the ground and tied the sheets to form walls, they’ve made a ladder roof pattern out of thin branches, it’s neat but it won’t hold the water, the branches might even snap” Doug says. “Guys, can you help” Will asks.
12: 42 PM: Judith is watching Bronte and Luna build. “Judith, why are you watching?” Bronte asks. “Just observing” Judith sneers. “Well don’t go copying” Luna smirks. “As if I’d copy you” Judith sighs. “Oh Judith, you don’t exactly makes things easy for yourself, do you?” Luna grins. “Get a grip Luna, I’m not prissy like you” Judith sneers. “Oh Judith, you’re a bossy cow” Bronte yells. “Guys, can everyone just calm the ******* down” Will shouts. “Why are you hanging around with the enemy Will?” Judith shouts. “I’m, sorry, what?” Will gasps. “I was your friend when you entered, I was the one who stuck by you and helped you, and this is how you repay me?” Judith yells. “Judith, you have shown your true colours and quite frankly, I don’t like them” Will says. “How can you hang about with bullies like Luna and Bronte” Judith says. “They are not bullies, everything that has happened, you’ve brought it on yourself, you have no one to blame but you” Will says.
2: 30 PM: The shelter-building task has ended. “Right, your team are first” Rick smirks. “Right, in we go guys” Bronte smiles. Bronte, Luna, Doug and Will settle comfortably into their cushioned shelter built like a tepee with a blue sheet covering the tip. “Pretty comfy” Bronte smirks. “Right, we’ve got the water” Martyn smirks. Martyn pours the bucket down, no water enters the shelter and simply rolls down the tepee. “Is that all?” Will asks. “Yeah, well done” Rick sighs. “Great” Doug smirks.
Judith, Martyn, Rick and Niamh settle into the tall, cube shelter. “I’m not tall enough to reach the roof” Doug smirks. Luna passes him a log which he stands. “Right here we go” Doug smirks as he tips the bucket into the shelter. Water starts dripping into the shelter. “The roof isn’t strong enough” Niamh gasps. “The branches are soaked” Rick says. “It’s freezing; a drip went down my back” Martyn shudders. “Crap” Rick gasps as he looks up at the soaking wet branches. Suddenly the branches snap and water splashes down onto Niamh, Rick and Martyn who are sat in the middle, Judith is sitting on the edge and remains dry. “God that’s cold” Niamh gasps. “Well I guess they’ve won” Niamh sighs.
Outside, Luna, Doug and Bronte are laughing. “Oh my god, they’re soaked” Doug grins. “Is Judith wet?” Luna whispers. “She’s sitting by the edge, she’s dry” Doug whispers as he peeks through the hole in the roof. Niamh, Martyn, Rick and Judith emerge from their shelter. “I need a towel” Rick sighs. “So, are we about to go in?” Doug beams. “I guess” Will says. “Luna, Doug, Will and Bronte, as winners of today’s task you may enter the house, Martyn, Rick, Judith and Niamh, you must stay out here another night. However, Rick, Niamh and Judith face eviction, they will not be entering the house when one of them is evicted, and they will be evicted through a fire exit door. If the remaining housemates make it through the night then the whole house will win a luxury budget. “Right, in we go” Bronte smirks. Bronte climbs through the hole and enters the house.
“Bronte” Sol gasps. “I beg your pardon, who are you?” Bronte gasps.”Sorry Sol, me, AJ and Hattie entered on Tuesday” Sol says as he shakes Bronte’s hand. “Right” Bronte says. Luna has climbed into the house. “Have you been living in the house whilst we’ve been outside?” Luna grins and Sol nods. “I’ve got drinks for the newbies” AJ smirks as he shakes Will’s hand and helps him climb out the tunnel. “Hi, I’m AJ” AJ smirks. “Hattie, Chloe and Maxine are in the bedroom, they’ll hear us” Sol says. “Hello AJ, I’m Doug” Doug smiles. “Nice to meet you” Hattie beams and shakes hands with Bronte and Luna. Chloe and Maxine emerge from the bedroom. “Judith, Niamh, Rick and Martyn are staying outside until the eviction, we won’t get to say goodbye” Luna sighs. “I don’t wanna say goodbye to any of them” Chloe sneers.
