i think Brits have the same prejudice against americans as Aussies have towards brits. They see themselves in direct competition, but we don't really see the competition or at least aren't insecure about it. Has a True Blue brit ever won an aussie reality show?

don't even get me started on Canadians...

but also, Big Brother producers always pick americans that have been on reality shows before so they know they are good value for money, while a lot of the brits come from other walks of life and have never done reality TV before.
