Gary is far from pitiful. In the real world he had been described by his psychiatrist as being "without filters". We have seen little of that because either he (or his medication!) is reining it in.

A dear old sweetie? I think not - and nor do those who have to actually share living space with him.

Problem is there are too many fans of his films willing to overlook the fact that his fellow housemates find him a bit of a pain.

Yes, James is an idiot for constantly trying to get someone aged 70 and set on his ways to change his ways. It ain't gonna happen.
