I fail to see how that is discrimination.. People also say that they're sick of hearing about Kellie's transition, that isn't discriminatory and she can't help that. the same as Gary can't help his deafness, so if people are using Gary's deafness as an excuse for his behaviour as people are using Kellie's transition as an excuse for hers, then i don't see why people aren't entitled to say that they're fed up of hearing about it without being labeled as discriminatory
But i do agree with you about the sleeping outside bit, it was right that he was taken out of that.. but, i doubt his hearing issues or his brain injuries would stop him from being able to wash a few dishes here and there.
