The crowd reaction is irrelevant to the vote though. Its pantomime, nothing more.
Nothing could have made that clearer than the Winston eviction where the whole crowd cheered him loudly and one sole voice shouted "Get Winston Out" which the housemates all laughed at as it was so funny, until the message came that Winston had been evicted
Votes are what counts, and even if you detest a particular housemate and they get booed all night by the crowd, if they receive the most votes, they have won. If you want your housemate to win, you need to vote for them, and then hope enough people feel and do the same as you.
