Why keep talking about it? Emphasising on Gary's inadequeces... James can't help wanting credit for any little thing rather than being humble and simply doing things out of the kindness of his heart and not seeking adulation for every little nice thing he does for people.
He is constantly seeking approval and gratification because he is a taker...life is all about him. If he gives he wants praise...selfish to the core.
