Papa gates has been a comedian, guitarist for decades. He did some of the guitar work in the song Car wash and some other songs you might know.
Recently he toured with Jeff Dunham (the man that has that puppet that says it's me I kill you) and he got known as the guitar guy. Here's is the best thing, he does a lot of guitar work with the boys. The outro solos to sidewinder, coming home he did them. and he's done more work along the way. He does some youtube videos too. In that long interview, you saw the papa gates bit right, when syn joked that his dad begged for autographs? I love their relationship

) that they've known since high school does all their album cover art work and etc. The big statue that you see on stage in their concert this dude designed them. In high school he once fought 15 people on his own.
and there's more goodness. Matt and Brian are married to twins that they've known since they were young. Matt has been with valary since they were 13 and Brian got with michelle in 2003. Annnnnnd yes the girls were BEST FRIENDS with REv too.
