Tycoon tricked into inadvertently sharing picture of Fred and Rose West by prankster claiming his parents had passed away

Donald Trump is famous for retweeting charity appeals and other requests on Twitter, but his generosity led to him being duped on Monday. The tycoon and US Apprentice guru was sent a photo of a couple by a Twitter user with the message: “My parents who passed away always said you were a big inspiration. Can you please RT for their memory?” Trump merrily retweeted the image, not knowing that the picture was of notorious British serial killers Fred and Rose West.
Trump might have been alerted to the fact it was a prank by the fact the Twitter user’s account was named @feckhead. Monkey assumes the (Scottish or Irish) cultural references were lost on the US billionaire – clearly he’s never watched Father Ted.

Poor Trump, he is actually really good at raising awareness for charities on social media.
