While the rest of the housemates prepared for tonight's celebratory party, Ahmed, Jason and Victor got together to do what they do best - have a good long moan.
New housemate Becki was the first on their hit list of subjects to scrutinize.
Jason, it appears, has become something of a shrewd observer of the new girl and her apparent desire to want to get on with everyone.
"[She's going] round to become everyone's best friend," he told his pals, not even bothering to lower his voice. "That's good; that's what you've got to do...but at some point the falseness has to disappear and you have to make your choices," he added meaningfully.
"Nice girl but she has an agenda," he concluded.
Nodding their heads in agreement, the pair silently took the information in, before Ahmed stepped in to put his tuppence worth in about another housemate - Nadia.
...and we bite back
The eldest housemate has taken offence at something the loudmouth Portuguese said yesterday. "She went around saying 'If you don't like me, don't talk to me'," he revealed, shaking his head as he disappeared off towards the garden.
But fairly soon the jungle cats had another opportunity to bitch. When Stuart ambled over to the kitchen sink, the duo pounced, and before the student boy could get away they were on at him about Marco's harem.
"They're like wounded animals," Victor told him, referring presumably to the trio's nomination status, before going on to warn him to mind himself where they were concerned.
Stuart declined to comment.
