That is why I voted for them Kizzy, their candidates and party workers near harrassed students for their votes.
From all they promised and said, I voted for them because I thought if they went into coalition with the Conservatives,that they would reduce the severity of the cuts,ensure the NHS was safe,not allow the doubling of tuition fees and protect the vulnerable.
Equally, I voted for them too because I believed were they to form a coalition with Labour,that they would ensure less or no more borrowing,that Labour would strive to halve the deficit in 4 years.
To hold Labour to their health and Social care plans as to the NHS and ensure Labour,with them, worked to protect the recovery that was in place at the 2010 election and to nurture the growth further that was in place.
Never in a million years would I have believed they could have supported so many extreme heartless policies in return for a miserable few Cabinet positions and a time of 5 years of shared power,as they have these in this Parliament.
