He may have been overall a disappointment as a PM and also made an extremely bad decision as to Iraq too.
However he or William Hague, had either won the 2001 election, would have supported the USA and gone into Iraq again,doing exactly the same things as was done too.

For me, Tony Blair comes across as a failure because he squandered a brilliant chance with 2 massive overall majorities to firstly ensure those who had stuck with Labour through all the bad years and also the most vulnerable were rewarded and more to the point protected for the future.
Also he should have sealed protection of the NHS,which he should have ensured if anyone wanted to mess about with it again that it would have cost them way too much to do so,let alone even bother to even try to.

However none of that warrants planning to murder him or any of his family either.
