Less Paste, More Speed
The housemates' creative task isn't going quite according to plan - thanks to what Michelle perceived to be "s***" paper and a general unwillingness to mix wallpaper paste.
When Big Brother provided them with a box of art materials and two hours in which to provide a wall mount, the reaction was mixed.
Shell and Stuart immediately used the excuse of having to cook tonight's dinner to relieve themselves of participation, while Jason and Victor didn't bother making excuses and simply did not join in.
This left Michelle, Dan, Becki, Marco and Nadia to roll their sleeves up and get mucky.
Fairly soon only the girls continued to stir paste and paper in the hope of producing something to build with, while the boys moseyed past occasionally making suggestions.
But even lead females Nadia and Michelle soon lost heart and stomped off to the Diary Room to note their concerns. "It's not working. It's not working at all," explained Michelle, adding that with "less sh**e" paper, they might be more successful.
This stuff just won't stick!
"It's disheartening," she sighed, before hastily promising Big Brother that it wasn't in her nature to give up.
"It's not going to dry in time," Nadia put in.
While Big Brother was noting their concerns, Becki was in the garden noting a few of her own.
"It's a task and it's part of the rules and it's something to do," she told Jason, after the anti-art muscle man had expressed his opinion that the task wasn't compulsory and therefore he wasn't going to get involved.
"Somebody's gotta do it," muttered Becki as the hulk sidled back indoors.
