Just want to go back to this topci for a minute because something has been bugging me.
In many other situations, Big Brother has always said that a housemate cannot nominate/choose themselves. However, this time Becki had a clear option that if she didn't want to nominate someone, she could refuse, thereby putting herself up for nominations.
She could have done this AND then explained to the housemates what had happened (Big Brother threatened that if she did, she would be automatically up for eviction, but by refusing, she already was). She would then have earned the sympathy and respect of the housemates.
OK, so she would have had to rely on the goodwill of the public to keep her in that week, but I think a lot of people would not have voted to evict her based on the fact that she had put herself on the block to save someone else.
Does anyone else think that this would have been a good thing for her to do?
