I think Amanda was undoubtedly worse. Aaryn made some childish comments/actions/mannerisms (mocking) while Amanda literally did those things and really bullied houseguests like Candice & Elissa. She was vile in multiple different ways and gets much less acknowledgement for it. Ginamarie was worse, although I found her much more entertaining than Aaryn. Others were very bad in similar or other ways as Aaryn. But for Aaryn, it's considered her entire character, because she got singled out with that edit. The bed incident is taken way too offensively for what it was. Her other comments that she made behind peoples' backs are more offensive but she's not a KKK member for making them. 
I wouldn't put Howard below Aaryn but I don't blame Luke for putting Aaryn as #8 in the rankings with that cast. Personally, I rank Elissa & Candice below Aaryn for similar "boring", and other, reasons. |
There's soooooooo much I can pick apart, but like I said when Aaryn wasn't being a bully or a racist or a homophobe or whatever else, she was being a boring McCranda hoe puppet. She was vapid and lacked any sort of charisma and only contributed to the show in entirely negative ways.
As for Aaryn being victimized by the edit or whatever... her comments were aired because there was so much outraged on Twitter and social media because she made comments that were so awful so often. Yes, she got singled out on the edit more than most people but that shouldn't warrant her any sympathy. If she didn't make those comments in the first place, she wouldn't have gotten such a bad edit. Her edit was brutal but for very good reason.

That's just such an ineffective statement to make because that's the bulk of her character. It'd be like saying that Evel Dick would've been one of your favorites if he wasn't so vile and didn't bully women and didn't treat Jen like **** and whatever else. Like, that's such a major, defining characteristic of Dick that it's a pointless statement to make. What you're saying pretty much reads "I would love Aaryn if she wasn't such an awful person an overwhelming amount of the time." Unfortunately she
was an awful person for almost her entire stay so oh well.
