The voting public unfortunately have quite a lot to do with the series, as they do with any reality show.
The minute anybody shows any weakness, such as Kendra did in her latest trial (even though she did so well in her previous one, oh my god), they will vote for her to do the trial again and again and again and... It's so fickle. And it becomes boring. It happens every year. Grind someone down until they quit or get voted out. While certain aspects can be quite entertaining, mostly it's monotonous repetitive dross.
