The X Factor winner 2014 is the favourite to grab the elusive Christmas Number One this year.
At least that’s according to the latest odds from Ladbrokes.
Despite Band Aid 30 currently occupying the top spot it seems that the song may have peaked too early, and with a backlash starting to grow it’s now odds-on (8/15) that the winner of X Factor 2014 will land the festive No.1.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “It’s looks like Christmas has come early for Simon Cowell as Band Aid 30 looks set to struggle to maintain its early momentum until December 21st.”
Although X Factor could face some surprising competition.
Following news that former finalist WAGNER is planning to release a comeback single this Christmas, bookmakers Paddy Power are putting the X Factor reject at 33/1 to do the unthinkable and land himself a Christmas number 1.
Paddy Power said, “Lock up your great grandmothers, Wagner’s back in town!”
