..St Vincent...8.5/10...
Spoiler: ..I don't know whether Bill Murray will be nominated for an Academy Award for this but I hope that he is...he is stunning and perfect as 'grumpy old' Vincent. The cast in general was perfect and very likeable..Melissa McCarthy as Maggie and Naomi Watts as Daka, the 'lady of the night'..  ..but obviously the main focus is the relationship between Vincent and Oliver which is extremely touching...it has the perfect balance of humour and serious moments and yeah, I did cry toward the end when Oliver paid his tribute to him...ok, probably just a typical 'grumpy old man' type movie but really endearing and just very 'feel good'... |
