And to be fair, back then no one expected Channel 4 to change the houses much because back then - they didn't **** out a celebrity series twice a year, so the audience were happy to wait until the winter to see the beloved summer house brought back in the January with a few cosy designs and features added onto it, Channel 5 bring pressure on themselves by relying so much on CBB and that is why their January houses should, in theory, require abit more work than C4, because we already had to endure a silly celebrity series at the end of August anyway.

a) Who cares whether it's stated as the best ever, it's all about personal taste/opinion. Phrases like that should never be taken literally anyway.
b) They DO put in much more work transforming the house for the January edition. The August series always goes down the channel 4 route of a few changes, the January series makes drastic changes.
