In a way I think these terrorists give up their rights as a citizen when they commit their crimes. So yea I agree with her, I don't lose any sleep when one of these extremists claim their were treated harshly. I'm pretty much in favor of them being tortured to help prevent things like the cafe hostages in australia and the school kids being shot in pakistan.
And as for the military protecting us, I agree, it's because of their bravery and selflessness that we have normal lives.
