Somebody who plans to kill someone and somebody who accidentally kills someone both still have blood on their hands but it seems wrong to bunch them both together as "murderers" - I guess that's why I have an issue with this case and think he should be allowed to return to football. If he did do it, it certainly wasn't a violent violation of this woman.
