People's negative reactions, on the subject of transgender change, are similar to those expressed in relation to homosexuality etc.. They are based upon ignorance and fear.

Hopefully the positive example, of that most feminine of women Nadia, will help to ammend some of the purile drivel that passes for 'thought' among the insecure, weak and biased. Those damaged, unimaginative, little souls will always take refuge in stereotypical prejudice.

Never forget, those who make the most noise about such matters are also those who are least certain (and therefore most insecure) about their own gender alignment. (cf the Theory of Latent Homosexuality)
