Celebrity Big Brother star Alexander O’Neal is set to cash in thanks to the show, but there’s bad news for 5th Story fans.
R&B singer Alexander is set to head back to music when he leaves the house with his production team keen to make another hit for the 80s hitmaker.
Music producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, who were behind Alexander’s 1987 top song Criticize, want to work with him again.
The Sun on Sunday reports that they’ve contacted Alex’s team in the hope of kicking off talks even before the soul star is out of the house.
“They are keen on working with Alex,” a source said. “He’ll be delighted when he hears.”
Meanwhile, Alexander’s fellow CBB housemate Kavana is looking less likely to return to music.
He formed a ‘man band’ group with some other hasbeen stars as part of ITV2’s The Big Reunion last year called 5th Story.
As well as Kavana, it includes Pop Idol’s Gareth Gates and former CBB housemate Dane Bowers.
But after a brief UK tour, plans for an album have fallen through and now the five piece look to split.
A source said: “It’s a real shame, they seemed to have such a bright future.”
