Since when did the word negro, when used as a descriptor, in this case music become offensive?. Try googling negro music and you will come up with loads of advertisers. It usually means deep blues music that came about during the slave era. I'm a black woman and I didn't find what he said as offensive, should I of found it offensive because it was voiced by a white man? I guessed he was just talking about a particular type of blues that I personally love. Whilst it may be outdated and archaic its not racist!
