Ken told her to be a bit more self aware and not put herself in a compromising position with strangers especially if they protray themselves as loose cannons as Jeremy did.

The way they said it pays a large part. Alex took her one side and was more like a father the way he was stroking her arm and comforting her. Ken was just crude and much more blunt.
