Exactly this.
See the thing is Katie doesn't actually argue with people for no reason, they tend to argue/disagree with
her for her 'controversial' opinions and views and she'll defend her point to the end and not back down. If she was asked, I'm sure she'd reveal her full opinions to each of the housemates as she's a big believer in honesty, but she's not and unnecessarily nasty person that some people had her down for.
