Who Nominated Who
Day 40, 19:00
Tuesday 06 July
Ahmed and Becki face the chop from the Big Brother House this week, but why were they nominated and who came close?
Here's what the housemates said about their choices this week...
Ahmed:
Nadia and Dan were the housemates on his hit list, the former on account of her closeness with the recently departed Marco, the latter because he chose Ahmed to be blindfolded for Saturday's task. "Beforehand, I told my housemates that I would never accept to be blindfolded," he announced indignantly.
Becki:
The new girl is perturbed at the sight of "pee stains" in the bathroom and obviously feels Ahmed is to blame since she gave this as her reason for nominating him. Her second vote went to Dan due to what she describes as his "squeamish" attitude towards the female body.
Daniel:
"Crap grammar" including excessive use of the word "innit" was one of Dan's reasons for picking Victor, while his penchant for chicken nuggets and tendency to whisper with Jason were others. Becki is "trying too hard to be nice" he commented, justifying his second nomination.
Not impressed with Jungle Cats' behaviour
Michelle:
Being too serious and not having a laugh caused Ahmed to make it on to the brunette's list of housemates to nominate this week. Becki was her second choice. "She's not part of the group," she maintained.
Nadia:
Both jungle cats were put up for nomination by Nadia this week. Jason, she feels, has been "a little bit too harsh" on her at times, while Victor has "literally ignored" her and didn't bother to ask her how she felt after close friend Marco took leave of the House.
Shell:
Becki was named due to her newcomer status. "I just know how I would feel if perhaps I had been in here for five weeks and someone else had only been here for only two and that person got to stay longer than perhaps a person who had been here for a greater length of time," said Shell. On account of his poor communication skills, Jason also received her vote.
Stuart:
"Becki's face is still the face of a new person, whereas everyone else's faces are like old and faces that I know and stuff," Stuart qualified his first nomination. He then received a formal warning for not providing frank enough reasons for also naming Ahmed. His grounds that Ahmed had asked to be nominated amounted to "being influenced", decided Big Brother, so he settled on, "I feel that Ahmed does not want to be in the House as much as some people, so some people deserve the experience much more."
Neither Victor nor Jason were allowed to vote this week. "This is bulls***" was Victor's verdict on the matter.
