I think because of some of the other housemates shortcomings, it is easier for them to use him as their scapegoat to play down some of their nastiness. I think he is hyperactive and of course he likes attention, he also knows the public need to be entertained, that is why he over exagerates everthing
and much of what he says is for a reaction and should be taken with a pinch of salt by the other housemates. They need to lighten up and try and enjoy the experience along with Perez.
