I see both sides of the argument.

Anyone who judges other gay people based on Perez's actions/attitude are in the wrong for being simple-minded, so shame on them.

But at the same time I understand Michelle's DR rant. He is a bad representative of a community who are already marginalised. Unfortunately some people are ignorant towards the fact that gay people are individuals, so having Perez on TV acting so horrifying is not doing any justice for equality for gay people.
