Alicia struggles bless her. Its been clear from early on that Alicia has learning difficulties. She struggles with people lying and she struggles with meanness because that goes beyond her comprehension. That btw isn't her fault. Alicia scrapes by but she is like a child trapped in an adult body and no doubt she's been challenged all of her adult life thus far.
As for Alicia having dyslexia, she probably does and it likely confounds other learning problems that are a separate issue or ones that are linked directly to her dyslexia. Every dyslexic is as unique as a fingerprint. There are many types of dyslexia, some not as challenging as others. There are conditions like Dyspraxia that sometimes go hand in hand with dyslexia. What we can't d with dyslexia is compare one persons success with another persons failure.

Well said, if I read another post along the lines of "I know someone who is dyslexic and they can do x" I will smash my screen, I thought we were a bit more enlightened about disability in this day and age, seems not.
