Is it really necessary to have a twist every week?
A twist isn't a twist if there's twists all time time. As with normal nominations, the biggest twist of all would be to not have a twist these days. I miss the early series' when we would just get a few big twists a series, such as a genuine surprise eviction, the golden ticket or the house next door (before it became ridiculously overused). Now we're just randomly telling Katie Price she has the power to save and replace, majorly overdoing face to face noms, and chucking people into secret rooms every other week for the hell of it and I find it so boring.
From memory the only twist I've enjoyed since the move to C5 was the White Room. It sucked so much that Conor of all people got £50,000 but it was still great tv. I honestly can't think of any other memorable one over the past few years other than that.
I suppose they keep the momentum of the series flowing to an extent but I wish they could come up with some more interesting ones.
