I think people took that line from the newspaper too seriously, I assumed they were just throwing out wild ideas for interesting twists rather than reporting on something that was ever scheduled to happen. We did get a surprise, out-of-the-blue eviction with Marlon, however.
But yeah, a morning snap eviction would shake them up. They'd be convinced that the evictee is just in a secret house.
