World falls for Endemol hoax

Controversial reality programme “The Big Donor Show” finally hit the air tonight in Netherlands - and revealed it was all just one big joke.
The dying woman with a kidney up for grabs was actually an actress, though the three potential recipients are all in need of a new kidney, but knew the real nature of the show.
Producers Endemol, the company behind Big Brother, claim the elaborate hoax was about highlighting the shortage of donors in the Netherlands.
Previous Endemol hoaxes include Something about Miriam, where the men unwittingly competed to date a transsexual, and Space Cadets - which saw three lucky contestants enjoy a four day space mission - in a warehouse in eastern England. However on both these occasions it was only the contestants in the dark.
