Do I agree with how Alexander handled it? No....but if you're going to poke a lion, don't cry because he bites you. It was Perez's fault...clear and simple.

Nadia is implying that it was Alexander's fault because she needs an excuse for condoning it. She has no viable reason which is why she is claiming she "won't say anything about it". She could care less about Alexander, it's because she doesn't have a valid reason.
