He denied saying Nadia was controlling and he disliked her food actually. He never said a single negative thing about Nadia or her cooking - just that he would be cooking something lighter. Perez totally lied about that conversation to try and make Calum look bad.
Perez was the one who changed his story. It's sad really that he would manipulate his only friend in there.
