Over the years especially recently on social media people have really been pushing LGBTAIA rights and in my experience it's made it easier to be more open about my sexuality. Same sex couples I know still have to go abroad or overseas to have their marriages recognised. So for me I appreciate it when people make a stand

I can't see inside Michelle head and I don't know if she does do it just for selfish recognition, the goodness from her own heart or a bit of both. She claims to have spent a lot of time around gay people and for me even if I was straight I'd still want to do something about the inequality I witness. Personally I feel it does more good than harm. Just my two cents
