Come on now, have you never heard of the stereotypical remarks by Brits against the French, The Germans, The Italians and the Irish. The American stereotype is bigger, better and louder than anyone else.
I get fed up that Katie Hopkins single handedly is responsible for all this nationalistic banter. It has been around for centuries, if you read the books.
Today, I was with a lovely young man with learning difficulties who attended a workshop with several others who have similar conditions. He told me he cannot attend anymore because of cuts and the transport was stopped for them all.
Yet, KP thinks it is OK not to pay for her son when her and his father are millionaires. If Katie H says this is not how it should be, I am behind her 100% Let's ask her Katie P how she feels about several other disabled people losing their transport because of cuts when she can easily afford to pay privately for her son, bet your life she will say it is because she can, not because it is morally wrong for her to do this.
So Katie H has said she doesn't like some children's names, well so what if she doesn't, it shouldn't affect anyone if she doesn't, just say Too bad Hopkins, but comments on how vile she is are way over the top. Others have a mouth to reply but it is again only banter. I am overweight, so are others but when I have my fat times it is because I overate and the truth hurts at time but it is still the truth.
A sense of perspective is needed, accept she is rent a gob and when people ignore her is when she is out of a job.
When you go crying, she is vile, she is this or that, she is living off this notoriety all the way to the bank. Ask why she makes others so annoyed, will it hurt her? No, will it do the person who hates her any good? No.
