I think its fairly clear that they are pushing him out. If they didn't know he was upset they did know he wasn't with the rest of the group. I felt sorry for him tonight. There was a lot of talk from them about being glad if he felt bad. I know he has been an asshole and has wound them up but he hasn't done murder or really harmed anyone. Their reactions to him seem like some serious overkill.
