Humour all depends on context and a personal perspective. It is not absolute, as some people try to claim. North Korea and other totalitarian regimes try to classify humour in the same way to control the free thoughts of people.

May I suggest Truth that you read a very good book called "1984".

I would say in the context you state then no I personally would not find it funny but I might find it funny in a different context and find it extremely funny. I don't get offended on the behalf of others.
