I don't see the problem people have as such. Katie has only compared Perez to the stereotype American.. loud, in your face, gets too personal over nothing... Perez fits the stereotype perfectly.

It's just the same as an American viewing the British stereotype, posh, up ourselves, tea lovers.

People seem to be taking this out as an issue just because they dislike Katie. Not once has she been offensive to Americans as a whole. She just picks out the obvious stereotype Perez fits.
