He is abusive and this book is fetishising and romanticising abuse, not S&M

Right, I have now read all three books and this doesnt happen?
No consent is broken, plus the rare times she safewords, he stops immediately?
In a way I am disappointed, as I figured after readng this post that there was more to it all than a normal 'lovestory' thing, but there isnt
