He has to hope that by some incredible twist as to Lib Dem fortunes,that somehow they can hold enough seats to have any chance of shared power again.
However,I think he is going to get absolutely hammered as to his party in this election.

I don't trust him but I would prefer to see a Labour/Lib Dem coalition,the Lib Dems turned their back on that one,despite it being possible in 2010,I cannot see labour however wanting any strong deal with Clegg.
If the Lib Dems do get hammered and he holds his seat, I hope he does the honourable thing and clear off from the Lib Dem leadership.

Who to take his place however, I have now equal dislike for near all the current Lib Dem hierarchy/MPs,except for Charles Kennedy and Tim Farron.
