A team of professional bar staff and cocktail mixers have been working tirelessly in conjunction with one of France's most beloved footballers to create a new cocktail, aimed at both the traditional cocktail-drinking market, as well as the - traditionally more restrained and lager-drinking - football fans.

The footballer in question, Bacary Sagna, has himself endorsed the product to his own 740,000+ Twitter followers:

Preparation of the Daiquiri Sagna could not be more simple.

4.5 cl (9 parts) White rum
2.0 cl (4 parts) Limoncello
1.5 cl (3 parts) Orange juice
0.5 cl (1 part) Mint syrup

Instructions
1. Pour 4.5cl (three shot glasses) of a white rum of your preference into a cocktail shaker.
2. Add 1.5cl (one shot glass) of orange juice and shake well.
3. Once settled, pour the mixture into a standard cocktail glass (no larger than 13cl).
4. Next, add 2.0cl (slightly more than one shot glass) of Limoncello, a lemon-flavoured liqueur, to the top of the glass. It should settle atop the rum mixture.
5. Then add a small dash of mint syrup - we advise 0.5cl (a third of a shot glass), but add more or less to suit your tastes.
6. Finally, garnish with a cocktail stick and olives.

To advertise the new drink, we've embarked on a nationwide billboard campaign, with a similar series of images popping up all across Bacary's native France.

In addition to this, further celebrity endorsement was necessary, and who better than a chat show host who is famed for serving his A-list guests a tipple for their interviews?
