Emily completely tricked him, great to see a simple classic lie work a treat!
But Ziggy was called to the DR for then going on to say to Emily "Oh I can't talk about any of this...." and then goes and does exactly that and tell her the reasons he nominated people. Thats just kinda dumb on his part!
The later argument was Ziggy trying to recoup some of his lost ego at getting so easily tricked, he did well in leading Emily into shooting herself in the foot!
