I agree,although I honestly don't think a lot of MPs 'from all parties', even know what being moral is unfortunately.
Until things are changed and really tightened up on with everything having to be approved 'beforehand', not after it is set up.
Sadly this will go on, with MPs from all parties.

One of the most pathetic excuses I heard for claiming expenses came from David Laws, the Lib Dem MP, who was sidelined for a time until the dust settled and then brought back into cabinet again by Nick Clegg and David Cameron,getting well rewarded for being devious.

I share the disappointment and disillusionment as to MPs doing things like this but as the op says, it is not against the rules.
So in effect,until it is,they can do it and will go on doing it too.
This is just one of a good few known now and also likely one of an even greater number not known.
