I tend to sleep at 11.30 and wake at 6.30 7 days a week. I have blinds to keep out the light and there are no noises such as cars, I get birdsong in summer and the odd sheep cough or mouse scrabbling in the attic.
But I know that if i do not get sleep I am a wreck and that people have more and more sleep issues especially with the advent of the internet and mobiles

My alarm is set for 6.30am Mon to Fri, i lay in until 8 ish weekends, normally in Bed by 10.30 during the week and read or watch netflix until 11.30 ish I sleep through any racket apparently there was a bad storm this week didn't hear a thing
