I tend to agree with you, Wildchild and Glitterbabe - I really liked Rik's voice when he was in the final 50 and hoped he would do well in Pop Idol.
However, after he left the show, he has gone down miles in my estimation - he's been rude about the other Pop Idol contestants, and seems to have become totally arrogant and annoying in the extreme.
Although he has a good voice, he desperately needs some decent voice coaching - his version of 'I Will Always Love You' was appalling - 'Aaah will' ..... and 'bitta sweet memories' - urgh!
