Emily may not have meant it in a racist way, and it may not have been offensive to Charley but it could be offensive to millions and millions of people who watch the programme. No matter which way you look at it - that is a racist comment. She deserved to thrown out. End of.
It's not the 'end of' at all, particularly seeing as your argument is so see through. Just because people are offended, does not mean the comment is racist. Just because someone verbalises a word does not mean they have unbridled hate for an entire race of people.
Emily isnt racist. But the comment is. Its highly offensive and Emily deserved to be removed. I know that Charley said it but if BB felt that Charley also deserved to be removed then he would have done so.
Therefore, you have contradicted yourself, or at least contradicted Big Brother.

If the comment is racist, and it is the simple fact of the comment which carries the crime, Charley is guilty of it too, and so Big Brother must eject them both.

No there is a differnace! Emily called Charley the n word while Charley called herself the n word thats the point! i cant belaive how you can stick up for that dumb silly girl
that's what i don't get some are trying to turn this on charley for some reason. emily said it no one told her to.

I know ! people who dislike Charley are trying to turn this round on her! people face it Emily called Charley who is a black woman the n word there is no way that can be taken any other way then rascism! Channel 4 proved they have learned their lesson and i applaud them!
Don't try and twist my argument to imply I hate Charley. I'm extremely fond of Charley and felt considerable sympathy when she couldn't control her emotion at hearing the word.

This is not about blaming other housemates - this about blaming Big Brother and Channel 4 for their hypocrisy, and setting up this situation to manipulate forgiveness for the way they handled CBB5.

Emily's comment would have never made the edit, under different circumstances.
