I agree with arista,I think his wife for sure rules the roost.
The other thing with him is I feel he is more Conservative orientated and his party overall not.
I don't think any programme on him now,will erase the massive shelving of Lib Dem policies he did, just to have 5 years of shared power and a few ministerial positions.
I really believem he has virtually no political cerdibility or integrity left and even moreso now as he tries to distance himself from the 'nastier' policies he led his party into the lobby to support over the last 5 years.
That really comes across as ven more hypocrisy from him now.
Really the sooner he is gone form UK politics and a new leader in place for the Lib Dems the better.
Really they should have pulled out of the coalition for the last 9 months to a year at least and re-grouped then,even possibly under a new leader too.
As it is, he cannot even take part in the opposition debate because he is still the deputy PM and should there be a crisis and David Cameron be indisposedmhe would need to be there able to handle it until after the electio.
So he doesn't have the luxury even of being seen as the opposition to this govt;
No friendly or engaging cosmetic programming will erase all that,it is sad he is going to lead the Lib Dems to a disastrous result and also probably even lose his own seat too but he borught it all on himself.
He should have negotiated more strongly and demanded far more for to be in full coalition.
He failed bigtime and helped unleash,in my view, the worst and most heartless govts;on the UK there has been post war.
